HVAC Service Corporation is currently hiring experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics for our commercial and industrial projects. A good solid foundation and work experience is necessary for the new construction projects and refits we’re working on in the Southeast region. We are based in Gastonia, NC. Please have at least 3 years work experience with 5 years vastly preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities Include:
- Review blueprints along with building code specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Assemble, fabricate and install metal duct and fiberglass board (ductboard).
- Be familiar with all phases of duct, equipment, and lineset installation.
- Understanding of different connections and hanger layouts.
- Having your own handtools (company will provide specialty tools)
- Have your own reliable transportation to meet either on-site or at the shop to travel to the work location
Qualifications:
- Three (3)years minimum of experience in the trade.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Tools of trade and the ability to bring them onsite.
- References to verify your professional skills and experience.
- Copies of Certifications (for example your 608)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
